Why is it that the left gets irate about not taxing the rich enough...?

Yet don't bat an eye about Obama's plan to get a billion dollars in donations (tax free) for his re-election bid? Isn't that more unjustifiable than some one making a million getting taxed 2% less than what you think they should?
