Can I return a used game from bestbuy for store credit?

I bought Dragon Age: Origins used for 24$, and around 2 weeks later the ULTIMATE edition of the game was reduced from 50$ to 29$. Is it possible to return my used copy of the game for store credit and get the Ultimate edition with the store credit instead? I plan to throw in a few bucks to meet the 29$ mark obviously. Thanks
