Why do I get so aggravated by loud noises?

For some reason, vacuums, lawn mowers, diesel engines, leaf blowers, toilet flushes, and even pots and pans... bother the hell out of me. They just make me seriously irate, and for no reason. Its not like it hurts my ears, its just weird. :(
